Fiona has over 20 years of experience in construction and infrastructure projects. Before moving to Australia in 2000, Fiona advised on procurement and contract strategies for infrastructure projects in the UK, Asia, the Middle East and India. Until she joined Blake Dawson Waldron's Brisbane office in 2000, Fiona was a senior lawyer at a major London law firm, where she led negotiations for a number of projects under the UK Government's PFI scheme.

In Australia she has specialised particularly in water infrastructure projects and relationship contracting. Her recent clients include Gold Coast Water and Gold Coast City Council, Brisbane Water, Southern Regional Water Pipeline Company, Department of Defence, Coffs Harbour City Council, Citywater, Toowoomba City Council and Mackay City Council.
